LeConte, which is considered the tallest mountain in the eastern United States at 5,301 feet. To reach Cliff Tops, follow the trail on the west side of Mt. LeConte, near LeConte Lodge. Here you can look down on a breathtaking panorama of mountains stretching toward the horizon. Trees here are shaped by the mountain winds, and mists rise over the hills.
