A watercolor landscape of an old barn in the autumn, with the tobacco harvest hanging from its rafters. Tobacco was the money crop for the mountain people. A good crop meant a good Christmas. This was my first print. Mom and Dad, who were local printers, surprised me and printed this original watercolor. They encouraged my art and thus began my commercial artistic career.
