LECONTE LODGE:

A Smokies summer watercolor landscape of the LeConte Lodge high atop Mt. LeConte. Established in 1926 by Jack Huff, the LeConte Lodge, with no electricity, offers a step back into the past and a haven for weary hikers, and is still in operation today. The only way to reach the lodge is by hiking up and back. The shortest trail is the Alum Cave Trail at about 5.5 miles.
