For many years, I have passed the pond on Buckhorn Road and gazed in awe at the two beautiful swans gliding peacefully on the still waters. I have always intended to paint them and the quarantine gave me the time to fulfill that goal. I found a sense of peace in seeing those brilliant white feathers emerge from my brush, contrasting against the verdant pond. My husband and I were married at the Buckhorn Inn, so the property holds a special place in my heart. When you have time, drive down this tree-shaded road, and enjoy this beautiful scene.
